Endeavour creates insolvency team

Endeavour Partnership is making plans for 2012 by creating a specialist corporate recovery and insolvency team to advise insolvency practitioners and businesses affected by the downturn.

In recent months, the department has seen an upturn of instructions in this area due to its reputation for providing practical and specialist advice.  The team works with a wide range of people from insolvency practitioners, lenders and other stakeholders to businesses and individuals on a variety of insolvency and restructuring issues. 

Lee Bramley, partner and head of the team, comments: “Insolvency law and practice is complex and constantly evolving, so we have focused on putting together a team that has the depth of knowledge and expertise to help address and successfully resolve any legal issues which may arise.”

“We can provide guidance on collecting money from debtors, negotiating with banks and the general restructuring of businesses.  In the event that insolvency cannot be avoided, we strive to guide businesses through the appropriate formal insolvency procedures and seek assistance from insolvency practitioners as the need arises. Within the team, we have experts able to advise on a whole range of insolvency related issues including employment law, landlord and tenant matters and Directors Disqualification proceedings.”

The team comprises partners Lee Bramley, Julie Bruce and Jamie Brown, Associate Nik Tunley and Assistant Solicitor Vivienne Burbidge.  Department head, Lee Bramley is an affiliate member of the Insolvency Practitioners Association and a member of R3 and the Turnaround Management Association.
