Tuesday 11 October 2011
Teesside law firm, The Endeavour Partnership, has recruited two new trainee solicitors (Tom Haigh and Metab Hussain) to join its offices on Teesdale Business Park. Their arrivals coincide with the qualification of Vivienne Burbidge, Katy McPhie and Angie Robson who were admitted as solicitors in 2011.

Before joining the firm, Tom studied law at the University of Teesside and Metab at Nottingham Law School. Initially, they will join the litigation and employment departments respectively and they will each work for six months in the corporate/commercial, litigation, employment and property teams. They will be mentored by the firm’s partners and will work alongside other members of staff gaining experience and understanding of the firm and its clients. Tom and Metab will qualify in September 2013.
Endeavour’s three newly qualified solicitors have spent the last two years training in each of the firm’s four main practice areas. Vivienne has become a lawyer in the employment team, Katy in the corporate/commercial team and Angie has joined the litigation team.
Simon Wake, managing partner at Endeavour Partnership, comments: “We take the training of our lawyers very seriously as they are the future of our firm and of the legal sector. It is a testament to the success of Endeavour that we are in a position to be able to offer such opportunities on Teesside..”
