Training Contracts 2021.

Options for qualifying as a solicitor have recently increased, but we believe that a training contract with Endeavour offers the best possible start to your legal career, delivering much more than simply meeting the criteria for qualification.

As a trainee at Endeavour, you will be an integral part of our team. You will have the opportunity to gain experience with both routine and highly complex matters, working alongside experienced colleagues and learning from solicitors with outstanding reputations. You can expect client contact and responsibility to feature significantly in your training.

You will spend time in each of our specialist teams – Corporate and Commercial, Commercial Property, Employment and Litigation, and Insolvency.

Day to day support and supervision is offered by partners and other colleagues. You will also participate in regular reviews with your head of the department, enabling you to discuss and evaluate your progress and plan the next stages of your development.

Our trainees join us from a variety of backgrounds and with differing levels of legal experience. With this in mind, the tasks and responsibilities we give you will vary according to your capability at any given time, to ensure your training contract is as fulfilling and rewarding as possible.

There is usually the flexibility to structure the final stages of the training contract in order to give you additional experience in the specialism you wish to pursue upon qualification.  We offer excellent prospects for retention and subsequent progression.

Competition for our training contracts is high.  To succeed you will need to have a strong academic record, be personable, be a good team player and show that you are someone we could see ourselves working within the long term.

What are the benefits?

  • salary above the Law Society recommended minimum, with a significant increase in year 2
  • 25 days holiday each year, plus bank holidays, plus additional time off during the Christmas period
  • payment of the PSC course and exam fees (first sitting only)
  • membership of the firm’s pension scheme after three months’ service
  • death in service benefit

We are currently accepting applications for training contracts to start in September 2021. If you would like to apply, please complete our Training Contract Application Form and email to careers@endeavour.law, no later than 31st July 2019.

We will confirm receipt of your application by 3rd August 2019 and let you know by the end of September 2019 if we wish to call you for an interview. If you have not heard back from us by either of the above dates, please get in touch.

Interviews are expected to take place in October 2019, with candidates being notified of the outcome by the end of the month.
