Paul is one of the founding partners of the firm, becoming Managing Partner in 2014.
During the late 1970s and throughout the 1980s, Paul gained wide-ranging knowledge in a number of areas of the law including those in which he continues to operate namely acquisitions and mergers, acquisition finance, charity, commercial, corporate, education and intellectual property.
Paul’s considerable experience and expertise have enabled him to carry out work in a diverse range of sectors such as education and manufacturing, as well as dealing with a number of high value and/or complex transactions.
Although Paul still carries out a significant amount of fee earning, his focus is shifting more towards fulfilling his role as Managing Partner. Paul is the immediate past chairman of Butterwick Hospice and continues as a director of both Butterwick Hospice and Safe in Tees Valley.
Paul has acted in recent years for the Atkinson Northern group of companies in regard to acquisitions and other related matters. He is able to use his commercial and legal experience to provide clear and comprehensive advice which is valued by the company. We would be happy to recommend his services to potential clients.
